If you’re planning a trip to France in your rental car, then you’ve probably heard about them: the low emission zones and the accompanying low emission zone stickers.

We've looked into it for you, and this is how to get one of those stickers for your rental car. As soon as you pick up your car, you’ll know the license plate number. With this number, you can purchase the sticker online via the following link: https://certificat-air.gouv.fr/en/demande-ext/cgu. Proof of payment of this sticker, combined with the rental agreement, is sufficient for when you are checked.

Furthermore, you don’t have to worry about which car to book: all rental cars in our fleet meet the emission standards of the low emission zones.

If you’d like to keep your rental car for longer, please call us at +31 20 740 0950 to check availability and any additional charges.

If you'd like to return your rental car earlier and you did not pay in advance, you will only pay for the days you had the rental car. You will be reimbursed for the days after you returned the rental car. Please be aware we charge per 24 hours.

If the navigation does not seem to be working, we first kindly advise to try and restart the car and reboot the navigation system. Perhaps the memory is too full and it just needs some space to load the correct maps.

If it still doesn't work, please go to the nearest location:

Most cars from our fleet have the keyless lock/unlock feature. We kindly advise to try and walk away from the car and press the lock button. If you are too close, the car will remain unlocked as it can sense that the key is still in the immediate vicinity.

If you have tried everything and it is truly not working, please call Roadside Assistance.

Of course, we understand that it can get confusing sometimes. First, please double and triple check. If parked on the street, perhaps the car is on the other side. If parked in a covered parking garage, double check if you are on the same level as your car and approach a parking attendant to assist you in finding your car. If all else fails, go to the nearest police station, file a report and continue to one of our nearest locations or call us at +31 20 740 0950.

We kindly advise to double and triple check, and backtrack where you've been. If not found, please call +31 20 740 0950 within our opening hours so we can arrange help for you.

Outside our opening hours, please call the Roadside Assistance at +31 20 740 0952 so they can secure the vehicle. Please be aware additional charges may apply, check What does Roadside Assistance cover?
